Frequently Asked Questions
Coworking spaces are shared workspaces designed to provide affordable and flexible office amenities, thus serving as a sanctuary from the isolation of home offices, coffee shops, or long commutes to metro areas.
Stepping into a coworking space, you’ll quickly realise it’s unlike a conventional office. At the Madoly Centre, located midway between Perth city and the sea, we’ve cultivated an environment that our members describe as “a home away from home”. With the refreshing ocean undertones and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee in the air, you’ll find yourself warmly welcomed by the local community who are proud to call the Madoly Centre their work home. Here, you’ll see individuals deeply engrossed at their private desks, while others strike up interesting conversations at shared tables – a testament to the unique culture of coworking spaces.
At the Madoly Centre, we aim to create a diverse and inclusive community that spans a multitude of professions and sectors. Whether you are a creative, designer, developer, artist, entrepreneur, educator, small business owner, telecommuter, marketer, professional, or someone who simply prefers the flexibility of a shared workspace, the Madoly Centre is equipped to meet your needs.
In the present day, staying connected and maintaining productivity while working remotely has become a necessity. If you have the freedom to work from anywhere, we invite you to consider the Madoly Centre as your ideal workspace.
We are open 8am-6pm Monday to Friday.
Staffed hours are 8.30am-2.30pm daily.
Yes, onsite car parking is available at the front of the building and on nearby streets. There is also an underground Coles car park opposite the Madoly Centre.
Additionally, bike racks are provided, and we encourage their use as an eco-friendly alternative. Shenton Park train station is approximately 800m / 10 minute walk from the Centre.
At Madoly Centre, each workstation is thoughtfully equipped with a desk, chair, high-speed internet, dual monitors, keyboard, and mouse. Power supply is provided for all your electronic devices.
Members who have a permanent desk or private office are encouraged to bring along personal items like a preferred desk chair or a cherished coffee mug to make their workspace feel more like their own.
Absolutely. We encourage you to use the Madoly Centre as your business base, and your guests are welcome to join you in the Meeting room or at your desk as they would in any other office space.
Our community thrives on mutual respect. Brief phone calls at your desk are acceptable. However, if you have extended calls that may disturb others, we recommend moving to more private spaces like the balcony. If your job requires frequent, lengthy phone conversations, consider opting for a private office (subject to availability).
At Madoly Centre, we provide tea, coffee, and drinking water. We have a Nespresso machine offering a selection of coffees, chai, and hot chocolate.
Our onsite cafe, the Hot Bread Group, and numerous local cafes nearby cater to your gastronomic needs. You’re welcome to bring your own food and beverages as well.
We strongly recommend that members of Madoly Centre maintain their own public liability, property, and indemnity insurance. Fixed Desks, Private Office users, and users of the Meeting and Boardroom are provided with a lockable filing cabinet. However, the responsibility of securing your belongings rests with you. We have installed two CCTV cameras and limited door access to members for added security.
